Dr. Jodi Jakiel is a beacon of inspiration and a leader in chiropractic care. After graduating from Life College in Marietta, Georgia in 2008, she returned to Florida to continue her ten-year healthcare career as a chiropractor with a focus on empowering patients to discover the healing potential within themselves and regain hope to achieve what once seemed impossible.
In 2010, Dr. Jakiel founded the Active Living Medical Center in southeast Orlando, furthering her education by earning a Diplomate in Sports Medicine—a degree held by only 300 doctors nationwide.
As a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, she specializes in treating athletic injuries, focusing on correction and prevention of musculoskeletal imbalances. Her unique perspective is enhanced by her active involvement in sports and her role as a participating Doctor for Olympic hopefuls working with the USA Beach Volleyball Team.
